Fiddler's Green

The origin of Fiddler's Green in literature, lore and limerick is thought to originate as far back as the 7th or 8th century BC with Greek poet Homer's concept of Elysium in The Odyssey.

Adaptation by the modern US Army Cavalry perhaps begins with it's publication in the 1923 volume of the Cavalry Journal.

- In honor of fellow Trooper SGM Charles Hill, Jr.
