Sand Storm

Thermal night vision and the first generation of GPS units allowed us to fight day, night and in any weather conditions.

On February 23rd, 1991, 1900 hours, lead elements of Task Force 2-4 CAV crossed the berm into Iraq during a sand storm with visibility limited between 100 to 300 meters.
